Ring… Ring… Don’t bother calling Gerrod or Kristy they are engaged.

That’s right. You saw it first on stickfly. The boy and girl are finally getting hitched. A big hearty congratulations to Krangle and Old mate. Word to you both.

I’ve known Gerrod and Kristy for many, many years and I can honestly say that these two people are wonderful in their own right but as a couple they shine even brighter. Always smiling, happy and wanting to be with each other Gerrod and Kristy will live a lifetime of happiness together.

On to more pressing issues now. I’m not terribly sure and will have to do some research but my understanding is that following an engagement, a wedding takes place soon after. And after a wedding the husband and bride move into the same dwelling. Now this is where I get confused. Would it be rude of me, to assume that I will still be living with them under the same roof? And will Kristy be taking over my room leaving me the sofa bed? Not sure about this. I am going to call Mum later and find out what she reckons. She’s pretty clued on about stuff like this.

Just Kidding.

Congratulations to the both of you.

Jaimee and David’s Nuptials (Nooptials)

The “whose who” of the celebrity world were out in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane last night to witness the wedding event of the year held at the Mustang Bar.

Sex-pot and starlet, Jaimee, promised to make “Wondering Eye” David the luckiest man in the world by offering her hand in marriage. Witnessed by their close friends (Grant, Cathy, Michelle and Ben) the pair endured an unusually non-traditional wedding.

Of note were:

  • No Pageboys or Flower girls
  • The celebrant also gave the bride away
  • Australian idol loser “Cosima” sang “Eye of the Tiger” for the bridal waltz
  • The bride and groom wore no clothes
  • The wedding bands were a half-slice of orange and a peanut shell
  • There was way to much graphic depiction of what the wedding night would be like
  • The grooms attention was momentarily given to a hottie nurse that would be traveling with him to the UK
  • The bride secretly admitted her love for the celebrant slash giver-away er-guy
  • The wedded couple decided not to accept the gifts they received.

After the nuptials the bride and groom along with the best couple headed down to the classy “Elephant and Wheelbarrow” establishment for a couple of celebratory drinks. A fun evening was had by all.

Guess who got lazy? My first entry.

I endeavored many moons ago to write my own Blog using object prevalence (Bamboo prevalence .NET) and have got a substantial way through it. It looks a bit swish for a c# monkey and I hope it does well.

However, in the mean time I’ve decided to write some static html entries and do a plain old upload. How boring am I?

At least this way you’ll get something new every now and then when you bring up stickfly.com.

What was that you wanted some pictures?

Ben going crazy with coasters.
