What nation has the second largest population?

Last night some old boys from Oracle, Patrick and Suhail, asked me out to a trivia night at the Royal George in the valley.

I had a great time catching up and enjoyed the actual quiz part of the evening. The questions were damn hard though. I think we got about 22 out of 40. Go team!!

Afterwards we headed to the G.P.O for a beer or two where I received a $50 bar tab for Sat. night between 7pm and 9pm. Let me know if you are interested.

Survivor all-star update

How exciting was last night’s episode? One of my favourite all-stars Kathy was voted out.

It appears as though Boston Rob is playing a super game and seems to have total control of the other underlings.

Rupert in tears

The most touching moment of episode 11 was when Rupert’s little girl and wife were played on video. Big tough Rupert bear was brought to tears and I must admit I nearly was too.

Can’t wait for next week’s episode.

Tent pitched and ready to be hitched

Micah and Rachael finally celebrated their engagement last night with a huge party at Rachi’s parent’s house at Morayfield.

It was a grand affair with loads of yummy food for thousands of guests. There was even a tent for the happy couple to duck off to when they needed some alone time :)

Micah and Grandma Watson

I enjoyed catching up with Grandma Watson and the rest of my childhood second family – the Wichams. It was terrific to find out that Micah’s older brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Jo, are having their first child, due around October.

Read here for a slightly embellished review of the evening.
