Does this sound familiar?

Some companies just plain suck when it comes to business decisions. Sometimes only the founding members, CEOs, or a select few of the favoured ones get to make these decisions.

I’ve cringed at many horrible undertakings that seem to only cripple a company and destroy the morale of its employees:-

  • Nepotism
  • Ineffective hiring procedures
  • Making promises that employees know will never be honoured
  • Once I even heard a CEO say “We will never fire anyone.”

Old School companies need to keep it real and start competing in the market place. This guy is onto it with his article which puts forward the thought that the company as a whole may make more effective decisions.

Can’t Touch This

Richard and Stephen dressed in 90's gear.
I remember when Hot Tuna, Hypercolor, Rusty and Asics socks were cool. It was good to see that my friends thought so too as we partied hard at Jaimee’s 90′s party.

It was a great night filled with good food, great drink and awesome music. I couldn’t help but want to boogie.

Check out Jaimee here dressed in gear that Blossom would have worn.

NOTE: It may take a while to download the video.

Mums, Girlfriends and Roast Dinners

Filed under: At home in Australia| Family| Happenings | Tagged:

I’ve known my mum pretty much all of my life. Wait up, let’s say I’ve known her since the day I was born. She is a kind lady who loves her children very much.

However on occasions of being invited around for dinner it has always been a standard evening meal kind of deal unless it was your birthday. But last night, Michelle and I were welcomed with the most gorgeous, hugest roast dinner in the world.

I’m thinking the only reason the “good” china was brought out was because my Mum thinks very highly of Michelle. Seriously, who wouldn’t. So the lesson to be learnt here is in two parts.

  • Respect, honour, love and enjoy every moment with Michelle.
  • Visit Mum more often taking Michelle with me OR at a very minimum trick Mum into thinking that Michelle is coming to visit also.
