You’ve got to be joking

Woodworking routers are essential in an I.T. office.

I’ve often found the need to bring in my home handyman tools to the office. Quite seriously, what would happen if you found out that your desk’s level wasn’t quite flush anymore and you didn’t have your woodworking router in the office with you? You wouldn’t be able to work right?

Even if your desk was level, you might need to start her up and see if she still works. Everyone else in the office is just as worried and would rest easier if they knew it was still working too.

I often feel a strong desire to swallow my tongue and choke to death. I’m thinking this is because of the stupid actions of a select few.

What next? Is someone going to have an annoyingly loud ring tone that never ceases to end? Maybe someone will come in and build some shelves? I just don’t know what to expect in this crazy place.

UPDATE: 02-June-2004
The following was sent to all internal staff this morning.
“Check out these prices – unreal but very limited stock in all stores. Girls – some great cheap Presents for the boys here”

Check out the scanned in catalogue.

Oh yeah. Girls please don’t buy me anything from Bunnings.

  1. hahahah.. I couldnt agree more Ben!! i think tomorrow i might bring in my chainsaw and start it up and remove certain people heads. It couldnt be safe leaving it at home ALL day by itself!

As for the annoying ringtones, i find it quiet soothing now. When it rings constantly it just calms me! hhahah </sarcasm>

Whats the deal?!?!? no one works there anymore.. Sorta like the surounding areas (you know who i mean)…. Did i write that!

  2. Seems like our resident ‘Tim the Toolman’ simply can’t resist the urge to hold onto his tool…
