Broken Apple iPod – Update

Well after Australia Post lost the Ipod Apple had sent back to me I went down to the post office and made them look for it. They eventually found it and after reluctantly paying the $20 fee Apple had unfairly charged me I was eager to bring it home and prove once again that the unit was faulty.

I got her home, plugged her in, restored the firmware and downloaded some songs on to her. She was still broken. Yay!!! Now it was time to talk to a ‘real’ person at Apple and express my grievances.

I got onto an Apple technician relatively quickly and explained the situation. He said that as far as he could tell the Apple service department said there was nothing wrong with it. I asked how I could prove there was something wrong with it and he directed me to a licenced service agent. I headed out to Newmarket and showed an Apple fix-it guy there and he was like ‘Yep. You’re ipod is stuffed.” I said “I know.”

He’s going to send it off to Apple and hopefully I will get a new unit within a couple of days. Now to ring Apple back and demand my $20 fee back and to get a little extra for all the time wasting they have caused me.

You decide the way your country is formed by answering a single issue each day. Watch as your country develops and see how it ranks against other countries in the Nation States world.

Transcontinental Xmas party

Just heading out for a night on the town.Last night the Uni Gang met up to celebrate xmas together. The odd thing about this xmas party was that 2 of the guests were in London while the other 5 of us were here in Brisbane.

The Australian contingent met up at 6pm for some pre-dinner drinks before heading down to Enchiladas for some wonderful mexican meals. Jugs of Sangria were ordered all round but I found the taste too sweet and drank some Dos Equies beer. Tasty. Yummo!!!

After dinner we hooked up my webcam to chat with Jaimee and Daffyd who were in London.

It was great to see everyone all together and we had oodles of fun opening up our silly secret santa presents in front of the webcam.
