Can you think of a better way to spend 3 days then in Paris visiting a magical wonderland of past fantasies hanging out with your pals, Mickey and the gang?
Michelle, myself, Jaimee, Jodie and Leanne and Laura jumped on the Eurostar, crossed the chunnel and entered the many lands that make up Europes number one tourist destination.

Paris Disneyland is a smaller copy of LA’s Disneyland, featuring many of the same rides and attractions. Think of it like a better-funded Dreamworld. Each attraction and ride is amazingly resourced and detailed.
While it is stunning to look at I must say that it is after all a place for kids. There are only 3 rides altogether in the parks that are really worth lining up for – Space Mountain, Rock’N Roller Coaster and Big Thunder Mountain.
The good:-
- Eurostar straight to the park
- Our hotel was budget but great value
- I saw Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie, Pluto and a whole host of other Disney characters
- Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Rock’N’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith
- The whole park was covered in Halloween Theme. Awesome pumpkin men everywhere
- The biggest shopping centre I have seen in all of my life was near our hotel.
The bad:-
- Never eat a hotdog at Paris Disneyland. They repeated on everyone for a good 24 hours
- We didn’t have any kids with us in the group to really share the magic with
- The popular rides had a long, long, lineup
- 3 days is one day too many
- On the 3rd day some of us decided to shop only to find out that this wonderful shopping centre is closed on Sundays
It was a great weekend with good company. I do however have to admit that I think I’m theme parked out for at least 5-10 years. The next time I head to one will be with my kids.
