Ice Skating @ Kew Gardens

Filed under: Adventuring Overseas | Tagged

On Monday night we went ice skating at Kew Gardens for Kirsty’s birthday.

Ben is ice skating

The rink is about 1/3 the size of a football field and they manage to squeeze on about 150 people for an hour session at a time. They have quite a good system in place where you swap your shoes for some smurf coloured skates.

I had a great time carving up some slush and managed to not fall over once. It’s always great to share in someone’s special day. Happy Bday Kirstin.

Check out J&K’s article for some more piccies and stuff.

  1. It’s so funny seeing you all rugged up in a beanie and winter gear while we are experiencing ‘normal’ QLD Christmas weather – they are predicting 36 degrees!!!
