X-Men and food poisoning

After a glorious afternoon in the park, I went to see the latest X-Men movie in Fulham with John. I loved the first two movies and was eagerly anticipating the supposed “final installment” of a trilogy.
Before the movie, John and I, being lovers of fine chicken decided to indulge in some Nandos. As usual I enjoyed a 1/2 chicken, chips and corn on the cob.
We grabbed some coke on the way in to the cinema and settled in for what I thought was a fitting “finale” for the X-Men movie series. Unlike other comic book to movie adaptions, I believe that the X-Men stories are the only ones to have survived the transition. So if you generally don’t go in for the dissapointing Batmans, Spidermans, Fantastic Fours of the Hollywood world I do recommend you give the X-Men movies a go. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Check out Gerrod’s and Pat’s reviews.
After such a great movie I was content to lay my head down and enjoy a good nights rest. However, for the first time ever, I believe I got food poisoning and I can only assume it was the Nandos. I was up from 3am yesterday and have had the most gut-wrenching pain for the last 24 hours.
I’ve finally been able to avoid the bathroom for a few hours now and think I’m on my way to recovery. Thank God!

Are you recovered today, or still ill enough to take a sicky?

Yeah still ill. The doctor says a good round of food poisoning can take it out of you for a few days :(
I’m just so tired and lathargic. I’m also non-plussed on eating at the moment.
