As mentioned previously, my sister Leisa came to visit us for 6 days over Xmas. Being an English teacher in S.Korea she only gets two weeks off a year, so we felt very privileged to have her share one of those weeks with us.

She arrived at the insane hour of 6am in the morning on Xmas eve, where we met her at the airport. After dropping her bags off at our house, having a shower and a cup of tea, the trooper made her way out with us for a huge Xmas eve feast at a local restaurant with Michelle’s bookclub friends. The meal was awesome but it was the restaurant’s resident dog, that had us all ‘ahwwwwwwing’.

After sharing xmas day together, we pretty much spent the rest of the week shopping, eating, and doing a few London tourist attractions. I took the time off work so I could spend as much time with my big sis as possible and I’m sure glad I did. It was so good to have her here and to just chill and hang out like the old times.
Leisa made me endure 2 days worth of post-Xmas sales in the centre of London in Oxford Street, which I must admit is just plain lunacy. I swear there were over a million people within a 1 km stretch of road. That coupled with making us go see a musical (Chicago) definitely made me a bit weary. That said, Leisa made it up to me by making me eat yummy carrot and cheese cake and providing plenty of laughs for the week.

What a cool dog!!!
