We’re outta here…

With the arrival of G&K yesterday, a dinner celebration and a good nights sleep, it’s time we packed up our bags, caught the taxi and made our way to the airport to spend a couple of weeks in the sunshine and snow.

Yep, that’s right! It’s holiday time, and we’re heading to Spain for a week and then to Andorra for a week of skiing.

Love to everyone. I miss you all so much.

I wonder what the numbers would be like in Australia or the UK.

Ben Folds at the Hammersmith Apollo

A few weeks back I was lucky enough to see Ben Folds perform at a local venue. I haven’t really followed Folds’ music, at least not since he left the ’5′ behind a few years back, so I wasn’t too familiar with most of his set. Not that it mattered – he’s an awesome performer and a true genius with the piano. His hands must hurt the way he bangs that thing! Unfortunately he didn’t play ‘Adelaide’, so maybe that’s just one he turns on for his Aussie fans.

Two years on

Two years ago Michelle and I embarked on an adventure of a life time.

Boy has the time flown by ever so fast. We’ve lived and loved every moment of our o/s life and hope to enjoy some more adventures in the coming year.

I was trying to think of a way to sum up my London experience on the way into work this morning, and all I could think of was the number of shoes I’ve purchased since being over here – about 16.

So my life motto at the moment is to put my new shoes on and everything will be great.
