How clever?

Clever Wally’s Raw Pizza has just opened in our area. The concept behind it is that the pizzas are delivered uncooked, ready for you to bake in your oven.

I commend these guys on their gutsy move, and really like their branding. I’m curious though, to see if it’s something that takes off.

I understand the problem of pizzas being a little soggy by the time they reach your door and I guess this is what they’re banking on. But when I order delivered pizzas it’s usually because I can’t be bothered cooking anything in my oven and love the appeal of a meal arriving ready-to-eat and without too much washing up.

They cost around the same as normal gourmet delivered pizzas.

Would you order it?

The SecretLet me start off this post with a warning that it may cause offense. It highlights my cynical opinion about all things “magical” and “mystical” so now’s your chance to opt out.

I have recently been hearing a lot of hype about this new fad called – ‘The Secret’ and have had a few acquaintances recommend that I view the DVD.

I always enjoy making video memories of our adventures but making this one of our Mexico holiday was by far the funnest and most enjoyable.

It’s my favourite video to date. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I loved creating it with my fantastic friends.

New York-ed out and time-zoned adjusted, along with G&K we made our way down to Mexico on Tuesday.

Armed with my new Spanish vocabulary I thought it would be super easy to eat, drink and sleep my way through a relaxing week or so of Mexican madness. So far it turns out I was right!

Dreams Resort - Tulum, Mexico

We are staying at Dreams Resort in Tulum, a coastal town on the Yucatan Peninsula about an hour and half’s drive south of Cancun. Oh boy! It is nice. It’s like we’re on a second honeymoon, except we have to share it with some friends. So it’s even better :)

Dreams Resort - Tulum, Mexico

We have a choice of over 7 restaurants, two pools, unlimited drinks and many different organized activities and tours to keep us busy each day. Yesterday, we did a kayak tour on the local beach, followed by a visit to some local Mayan ruins.

Dreams Resort - Beach Front

Today, we ventured out to some amazing sink-holes called The Hidden Worlds, where we got to snorkel in some awesome underwater caverns. An experience like no other. Apart from some amazing vistas down in the caverns we got to enjoy an awesome ride on the back of a truck through the jungle. We saw heaps of lizards, butterflies and birds but unfortunately no monkeys.

I’m not sure what tonight has on offer for us but you bet it will involve some yummy food and many cocktails.

Bring on the rest of the week!
