Just over 3 years ago we left Australia and embarked on an adventure into the unknown. I had never really travelled outside of Aus/NZ and was anxious and excited about experiencing other parts of the world. We’ve had the best of times and enjoyed many new experiences.
It hasn’t just been about the travel or living the big city life though. It has been more about the flow on effects, like making new friendships and strengthening old ones and finding out who I am me and what I hold dear.
For me the best thing about these experiences is that they can be had anywhere and in many different ways. So I can’t wait to move forward and experience a settled life back home for a while.
- I desperately want to be around our families and aussie based friends again.
- I can’t wait to move into our house and spend time buying furniture and doing the place up a bit.
- I can’t wait to play with the brand new puppy we’re going to get.
- I can’t wait to go down to the beaches on the northern nsw coast again.
I can wait to go back to work though :(
So until we arrive back, we’re going to enjoy 7 weeks of trekking through South Africa, China and Vietnam. We’ll see all you Brizzymites again soon!
Just like when you pass the crazy guy preaching on a street corner, your first reaction to this article will be to keep on walking by. However, I urge you to stop and listen – just like the crazy guy would – if you haven’t discovered or understood the joys of RSS feeds.
