Weather or not you agree, London seems to have turned in to 2007 Brisbane and Brisbane into everyday London.
What the hell am I talking about? The sunshine of course!
We’ve had 5 days straight of glorious sunshine and are forecast at least 5 more days. This is unheard of for this time of year. Michelle even saw some daffodils starting to grow – a sure sign that spring is amongst us.
With such good fortune, we made our way out of the house Saturday morning to try a new breakfast place – Lola and Simon – named after the owners two dogs.
It was sooooo good to be out and about in the wonderful weather that we managed to persuade ourselves to stay well past midday before moving our lazy butts back home to do moving home chores.

To enjoy yesterdays sunshine, we headed into Chinatown to celebrate the Chinese New Year by feasting on Dim Sum with Pat and the gang.

After our bellies were full, we ticked off one of the few remaining things I want to see before heading back – the Cabinet War Rooms. The war rooms is basically an underground bunker that Churchill and his cronies used during the London air raids of WWII. All very fascinating stuff.
