Guess what?
We bought a new car. That’s right. No more two door manual girly car for this hip happening couple. We’ve entered the big league and have ourselves a 4 door sports automatic Subaru Liberty sedan.
We picked it up on Friday night. Just in time to take it up the coast for the weekend to celebrate my little nephew’s 3rd birthday on Valentines day.

Michelle and I booked a room up at Surf Air at Marcoola for the two nights and had a wonderful time relaxing, lunching with the family for Jetty’s bday and celebrating Valentines day.
Michelle and I are both hopeless romantics but when I say hopeless I mean it in the literal sense. We don’t bother with V.Day usually and so had not anticipated the possibility of not finding somewhere to eat on Saturday night. Absolutely everywhere was booked out. We drove around for ages. I’d stop outside a restaurant, Michelle would go in and ask if there was any chance and she’d walk away from them while they laughed at us.
Eventually we tired of all the driving, stopping and asking and settled on a stop in at an old favourite that didn’t take reservations – Sizzler.
OMG!
It was like a re-union of last years Biggest Loser contestants. Too many people out of control – me included.
I can never, ever go there again.

After such a lazy, decadent weekend I was straight back at the gym this morning pumping iron. Now to get ready to ride to work on the peddly.
Hey Dude, very impressed with the look of the car. ^_^ did you get all the nice extras on the inside that you were hoping for?
Promise you won’t back this one into the fence ^_~
Ahh yum I want some of those potato skins!
Oh, meant to ask, what happened to the “girly 2 door car”? Did you end up selling it?
Also, nice shirt Michelle :)
Ohhh… shiney…
We will be selling the most awesome 2 door sports coupe Toyoto Echo you could ever own in the very near future… watch this space.
I love the shirt. Thanks Lou!
It was scary how many other couples were enjoying a romantic meal for two at Sizzler.
Sizzler for valentines, that is a classic!
Nice wheels! My favourite car was my liberty from back in Oz.
Hey guys! Nice car. Planning on carrying a lot more in the near future? :-) Over the small sized cars now?
