Wes and Stacey’s Wedding

Earlier this month, our mates Stacey and Wes were married on the beach down at Port Arthur in Tasmania.

It was a spectacular event, made all the better by the beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere and the ever so happy — and smiley — couple.

Jason and Susan’s Wedding

Filed under: At home in Australia

Last weekend we celebrated the marriage of Jason Thomas and Susan Blake at their wedding at Mantra on Salt Beach at Kingscliff.

It was a wedding that didn’t follow all the traditions and was all the more special because of it. Both Jason and Susan were relaxed, happy and beautiful.

We wish you all the best in your future life together as best friends forever.

Well I’m pleased to announce that Steve Michelle and I are expecting a baby! I’m Michelle is 14 15 weeks pregnant and our “little bundle of joy” is due in early November mid September. So that makes me Michelle over one third of the way there which is both exciting and scary at the same time!

I couldn’t summon the creative juices to write my own announcement so I just “borrowed” some suggestions from this great website we discovered.

Michelle took the usual hit of experiencing morning all-day sickness for the first trimester but now seems to have passed that stage and we are both really happy and enjoying learning all about being first time parents.

We are super excited about bringing a little critter into the world and can’t wait to begin this new chapter in our lives.

If you only use facebook for updating your status and spying on others updates then you may wish to consider using twitter instead.

Twitter does one thing and one thing well – short status updates. It cuts out all the other crap associated with facebook that makes you bleed through your eyes.

The coolest feature is that you can “follow” anyone’s status updates – anyone – including celebs like Lily Rose Allen and Ashton Kutcher. No need to become “friends” with someone when you know you secretly don’t like them and only want to “befriend” them to see how your life is going better than theirs.
