We celebrated Michelle’s mum’s 60th birthday this weekend with a 3 day trip up to Fraser Island staying at Kingfisher Bay resort.

We picked up Michelle’s brother and future sister-in-law – Joe and Michalie – in Nambour before driving through Gympie, Maryborough and Hervey Bay where we met up with Ray and Maree to catch the ferry across to Fraser.

While most people take the opportunity to 4wd around the island, we decided to do it differently enjoying a decadent, luxuriously, relaxed weekend in a three bedroom resort villa. We did get out for a short bushwalk, and a laze around the resort pool but most of the weekend was spent enjoying each other’s company while consuming plenty of food and drink.

It was a real honour to be able to spend Maree’s 60th birthday with her and her wonderful family.
