Michelle and I just finished a week touring Italy’s fantastic coastlines. One thing we instantly picked up on is that in in Italy it’s all about style!
Firstly, Italians are known for there impeccable fashion sense…

Then of course everyone knows they have an excellent road safety record…

And then there’s the cars… the very fast cars…

Stay tuned for more on our fantastic experiences of Italy.

On Sunday, Chelles and I popped down to Kennington to visit London’s Imperial War Museum. They are advertising a campaign at the moment on the London Underground for their latest exhibition – Weapons of Mass Communication. This exhibit is a collection of war posters showing how propaganda has been used both – for and against – war recruitment in the 20th/21st centuries.
London Museums are really good and free so you can’t go wrong with a visit.

I was amazed at the actual size of this thing. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be given the destruction it had when dropped on Hiroshima.

The guns out the front of the museum were the largest (15″) guns to be assembled on British Navy ships during World War I.
I told you they were big!

At the pub tonight I went to the bar and asked for a ‘Carlton Extra Cold’. I knew that it didn’t sound quite right but I couldn’t put my finger on it. The bar dude looked a bit confused and then then the lightbulb came on. “You mean a ‘Carling’ Extra Cold”. Oops.

I’ve been sick for a couple of weeks now, feeling like a fox in a river and as such have been incarcerated at home with nothing to do. However, I was fortunate enough to run in to my friend Michael Scofield and his brother Lincoln Burrows. These guys know how to keep you entertained, I feel like I’ve been on the run since catching up with them.
Sadly though my unlimited time with them draws to a close and I’ll have to revert back to viewing their antics on the regularly weekly broadcast as I’ve gone as far I can with them and their back-catalog of episodes.
