The unexplained and mysterious phenomenon of how food, bowls and cutlery end up on the floor when you’re child is eating has now been solved.
We have exclusive footage exposing the sinister reality of this unexplained mystery. There are many suspects currently under investigation and today we can reveal exclusive footage of one of the suspects in action.
Due to the suspect in question being a minor we we cannot reveal their identity.

We received an out-of-the-blue text from Jaimee and Damian on Saturday afternoon. The basic gist of the message was – “you guys are our coolest friends and we’d love to spend the evening with you”. Being so cool we could hardly say no. Fortunately my Mum was in town and could babysit Ted, giving both Michelle and I the free pass to enjoy a wonderful Italian meal at Bella Cosi with Jaimee, Damian and Jen.
The meal was fantastic but a little heavy on the garlic. I’m still secreting the sweet, sweet smell of garlic through my pores today.
After a restricted week at home looking after Ted – who has had Chicken Pox – Michelle and I were both keen to get out of the house today. So after a quick breakfast we jumped in the car and headed up out past Dayboro, Mt. Mee and Woodford all the way to Somerset Dam. It was a beautiful scenic drive. We stopped off at “The Spit” to enjoy the Dayboro bakery goodies we picked up for lunch. Ted enjoyed stretching his legs and watching all the boats. Unfortunately, the air was so still and the temperature blazingly hot that it was stifling. We didn’t end up staying long, instead opting for the air conditioned comfort of our car.
On the way back we stopped by Granddad and other Granddad’s house at Petrie to say hello. Ted had a wonderful time playing down by the creek.
Making the most of a beautiful sunshiny Saturday last weekend, we met up with the Donnachies and the Thomases to enjoy a swim, a play and a bbq feast at Settlement Cove, Redcliffe.
The sun was blistering hot so the pool was very welcoming for all the little ones. The big boys however got stuck on BBQ duty and spent close to ninety minutes waiting for and then cooking the bbq. But it was worth the wait – the Thomases Lamb-burginis (sp?) – are to die for. I just wish I had taken a picture. Oh well.
I can’t tell you how much Michelle and I look forward to Jaimee’s annual visits back to Australia. She’s a part of our family and it’s always cause for celebration when we see each other.
We were lucky enough to offload Ted have Michelle’s parents look after Ted so that we could enjoy a leisurely breakfast on Racecourse Rd shortly after Jaimee had landed last Sunday.
We’re even luckier this time around that Damian is here this time too. He landed yesterday and we’re both super excited at the prospect of hanging out with them both tonight.
Poor Teddy has the chicken pox. Luckily though it seems like a pretty mild dose and it’s not bothering him too much. He’s a little grumpy at times, but …well…there’s nothing new there!!
I must admit that when I heard the diagnosis I was filled with dread because of the memories of my own experiences with the pox as a 5 year old. Like lots of kids, I was lucky enough to have spots EVERYWHERE. And to cap it off, I had a broken arm at the same time, with plaster from my wrist to my shoulder. I had to get creative shoving kitchen implements up under the plaster to scratch! Eeeew.
